(Ok I don't remember when I watched it but I'm planning on making my website less messy so I'm doing my updates over here from now on <-- eyyy Greatest Showman Reference)
Let's just say, it was Hela good. It was everything I expected of it and it was so funny and had all my favourite characters. I dressed up as Valkyrie and my costume ended up really cool. I used double sided tape for her war paint since my face paint was really crap as it wasn't working. Double sided tape surprisingly worked really well! The only criticism I'd have is that the movie felt so short and that Hela wasn't evil enough. Just power hungry. I'm so sad that Thor lost his long hair! I want to cry now. But other than that, there were so many funny parts like the "Surprise." and when Bruce was like "You'll see." and face planted onto the bridge. Ooh! and my all time favourite - "Get help!" I'd definitely give the movie a 4.5 stars. At least. LOKIIIII. And Heimdall was so cool too. Ugh I just loved it.
Yeah I know it's January but I'm just going to update you on what I did in December. I went to my cousin's wedding in Okinawa and it was really pretty. It was like the perfect dream wedding. The dress was exactly what I would dream of and the place was gorgeous. It was quite cold though. Our hotel was next to the beach which was really cool but I never got a chance to go there. I loved my flower girl dress too. It was a powder blue dress which had lace at the upper half and was until my knees. I'm a bit old for being the flower girl but oh well.
Then I had like two days of school and then went to Ischgl, Austria right after. Ischgl is the most perfect place in the world. The people are amazing and my ski coaches are so nice I cried at the last day. They're lovely and amazing. This was my second time going but unfortunately my brother and older cousin (not the one who got married though) want to try some other slopes first. I just want to retire at this age and live in Ischgl.
After that there was my cousin's wedding party and I wore a nice velvety red dress which was kinda short since it was above my knees and a leather jacket. And yeah that was pretty much it. I took lots of pictures with my brother and cousins (The one that went with me to Ischgl and her younger sister)
And after that I went to a new year's party with my brother's friends' families. I usually hang out with my brother's friend's younger sisters who also became my friends and who are also in my school. Yeah that's kinda confusing. And my brother's other friend's younger brother. Anyways, we played hide and seek, this game called pie face and drunken chairs. We watched Jumanji which I found scary and drank apple juice while the parents drank champagne. And ate some amazing cupcakes.
Okay and finally I have some pretty good news. I recorded a wobbly vlog with my friend Athena in Spetember I think of Disneyland, and I'm going to upload it soon! I edited one but it was too long so I still need to edit it but I made my youtube logo which I'm really, really pleased with so I can't wait to share it with you guys! When I post the video I'll let you all know.
I got the role of the Prince! ERMERGERSH I JUST CAN'T. I'm just really jumpy right now. The only problem is that my voice sounds derpy according to my brother. I can tell but I don't know how to change my voice into a more male and less derpy voice and not sound monotone at the same time. Anyways, that's not the only problem I'm facing because I have assessments RIGHT AFTER the production. And I have to do 5 performances in 3 days! I'm also really scared that I can't finish memorising my lines. So much stress.
Turns out my school recently added mid-term breaks! But I've got so much homework and I don't know how to finish it all! Anyways, I started bullet journaling since august and I had a travel diary entry at the start of the book. I really want to stick with my theme of the birth stone and flower of the month, but pumpkins seem cool too. I also tried to do Inktober, but I'm already late for it and I screwed up my first one. I'm following the official Inktober by Jake Parker btw. Also, this October I'm really busy, since I have overnight camp which sucks and then for the last two weeks I'm going on a study tour to New Zealand, which is pretty cool! So maybe I'll just do some Inktober sketches when I have time and not do the Bullet Journal pages for those last two weeks. Or leave some pages for a travel diary thing. I actually have some videos for posting onto Youtube but I gotta transfer it and stuff. Anyways, I haven't got a username for my channel so if you got suggestions, please, please comment them. I'm working on a logo for this website too :) I got some new views on this website too! So I'm actually really surprised though it's probably just the google robot spiders. Dunno, but thanks for checking out my website if you did.
Recently I joined the Harry Potter Fandom, and I have realised how amazing it was and how I regretted not spending my time more wisely in Orlando. Ugh. Anyways, not to dwell on the past, I have started watching some Harry Potter youtubers (TheBakeey and TheLunaDiaries) and they are actually pretty cool! I want to make my own youtube channel for that, but I don't know how too start and I want to do these videos with my cousin, but she's going to go study aboard. (Is that what you call it? Like to study somewhere else?) Luckily she has lots of holidays with term breaks and whatnot since where I live we don't have mid-term holiday things I think. So I have no idea what to do. I'm a Hufflepuff, by the way. I wanna learn how to knit so I'll just ask my Grandma. Then I can knit a sweater and scarf! I really like Slytherin too though because one of my favourite characters is Malfoy. I know I can't be in 2 houses but Slytherpuff is nice. But I'm not very ambitious so clearly I'm not a Slytherin. Anyways, that's all I got for now, baiii!
I also watched La La Land. It was interesting. My friend and I were talking about how they should make a La La Land 2 where Mia and the other dude break up. But I think that would make a horrible storyline and stuff. I thought it was going to be really really sad at first. Luckily I did not cry in the airplane. Or that would've been awkward. And after I went home from Singapore I watched BEAUTY AND THE BEAST which I made a bit of stuff on the "FANDOMS!" page too. I mean they are just so cute! And the movie had Romance, Adventure, Humour, Music... literally everything I like. I did also realise that everything I like now belongs to Disney. Star Wars, Marvel and Beauty and the Beast. One of my favourite parts was when Belle said "Can we go home now?" or something like "Let's go home now." Or whatevs. And I know the Beast did say "This is your home now." But then it shows that she now accepted the castle being her home. I mean it focuses so much on the word "home" and it is just so freaking adorable. (TINY BIT OF SPOILER AHEAD!) The part about the plague was quite sad too. I mean I wasn't said because Belle's mom died but I mean the sympathy in the Beast was just... je ne sais quoi. And where chip was near death was scary and sad at the same time too. Okay I was in a rush to type this so hopefully there's no typos or spelling mistakes. Anyways, that was my fabulous visit to Singapore and the bunch of amazing movies I watched.
Recently I went to Singapore for a school trip. I had lots of fun. The food was nice and going to the schools was quite a cool experience too. We went to Universal Studios too and I went on the Mummy Ride! I also watched X-Men Apocalypse and I added some stuff to the "FANDOMS!" page where the X- Men stuff is. And in case I delete that in the future, overall I just said that it was a cool movie though not the absolute best in the whole world. Oh and Magneto and Quicksilver are such amazing characters. Angel was kinda crap but oh well. The movies' timeline is kind of messy but I guess it's still really cool. I'm not gonna talk that much about it since nobody really reads this. Or nobody will read this and care about it.
So I promised one of my friends/followers on Polyvore that I'd help her promote her stuff. You can type in "Vanity-Lynn Slaughter" on Amazon or your kindle and check out/purchase 3 of her e-books! So if you can, spread the word about her stuff on social media! She writes for people like you and me, for example, going through real life issues that nobody wants to talk about or fighting battles that nobody sees.
(Most of that is quoted from a message she sent to me)
So it would be really great if you could help her out!
So recently I watched Dr. Strange and it was so FREAKING AMAZING I just love it so much! I'm not gonna spoil it so I can't really say much about it right now but it's just so... how does one say it? ASDFGIJKLSGHOHGISJKDVGJKSG!!! Yup.
So on to X-Men: Days of Future Past. I know, I know, I'm outdated but I kinda wanted to slow down the process of me watching all the movies at once so... yeah. I literally SCREAMED at the end and my mom was like wat? And it was because I just saw Bobby and Rogue together. Like, EEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!! Too many feels washing over me at once! And the way they connected the old and new cast! But what I don't understand is that I thought Professor X died in The Last Stand because he exploded? And then he's still alive in the future? Waaaat. At the start I was also like, "EEEEEEWWWWW!" since there was BOBBY and stupid SHADOWCAT. TOGETHER. Just wanted to cry at that part. No offence to Ellen Page.
Okay... I also noticed that I haven't updated for a long time so I'll give a list of movies that are pretty good and that I've watched kinda recently.
-Con Air(Not actually my favourite but it's ok)
I really wanna watch Me Before You but I dunno if it's sad ('cause I can't stand watching sad things)
So for the holidays I watched all the old cast X men (X Men, X2, X Men: The Last Stand) and also First Class I have become obsessed with it! And after watching a fanmade video I have become a total Rogue x Pyro shipper. I still ship Rogue and Bobby but I kinda like Ryro more. I also went to Beauville Arts this year and it was really amazing. Not my first year though. I started learning French too which is kinda hard but I guess challenges help you develop. I had to go to Music Theory which kinda sucks since it's so overly confusing but it's for my violin exam so...
Other than that it wasn't really a productive holiday. I only have like, 3 days left until school. And I have homework to do. It's kinda last minute. For my thoughts on school, I'm hoping that I will be able to join drama club since there's auditions this year. It's mainly just because there were too many people last year. Speaking of auditions, I saw the Premiere thing for Disney auditions to become part of a TV show or ad or something like that. My friend got into the finals but she needs to see if the agents accept her. And big problem is that there's a whole lot of kids who are trying to get in too. I wish her luck. I hope I can have enough courage to try the auditions next year too.
